Surreal moment

haggisI have just helped carry four shop mannequins (dressed in basques, fishnets and not much else) and two coffin through the Student's union. And i got surprisingly few dodgy looks from people passing by.
The reason for all this is that last week, Rag organised a charity event with a Rocky Horror theme. (Rag = students who raise money for charities by events and street collections). It was for Manchester Children's Hospital cos Richard O'Brien (who wrote it) is one of their patrons. The main event was a showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show hosted by Richard at the Odeon. The manager of the Odeon is a big Rocky fan and gave permission for the place to be completely trashed! All the tickets sold out and it made about incredible amounts of money, about £8000. There was also a club night and a ball but we did less organising for that and so I don't know so much about it.
