It seems "The Sandman" is really very, very good.  Although, I'm sure you already knew that.

The car was fixed and passed it's MOT no problem.  So *touch wood* no more trips to the garage for the next few months (4 visits since the beginning of December is plenty!).

I am still pissing about and not doing anything productive with my Saturday.

Daz's new medication is not making him any better, just giving him slightly psychedelic side-effects.  Still no  news on the next appointment with the consultant.

Work Project 'O' Doom nearly finished.  New projects keep being cancelled on me *grr*.

Being ill is rubbish.  But it was temporary and I am feeling better now.

First stage of lacy jumper nearly finished (not a doily as Jen thought!).  Need to think about sleeves as I am not mad keen on the sleeves in the pattern.

I have lovely friends.

Went up to Dundee to see David's play.  It was good and had some really funny scenes, especially the one about the Ante-arctic.  Seeing Dave and meeting his gf was very good too.

I keep getting worked up about things, calming down slightly and then realising I wasn't really upset about X, it was actually Y that I was worried about.  Generally where Y is something I can't do much about.  This is mildly irritating, especially as my psyche has no call to sounds so smug about it.  Sorry for the cryptic.

Realised while organising the Bisexual History Thingie(TM) that
  • I tend to get hung up on doing something right (ie perfect) rather than accepting that it's better to do something than nothing.
  • I would rather do nothing than do something I find scary/potentially embarrassing.
  • I micromanage and meddle for no particularly good reason
This is patently stupid.

I am all excited about the arrival of Small.  I like babies.

ETA And Scotland just won the Calcutta Cup!  I've been avoiding editting this for fear of jinxing it but the final score was 15-9 (and yes, that's a rubbish score from a pretty dull game, but We won and that's The Point.)
